The Sweden Jamboree26 Canadian Contingent Team is excited to work together and bring a group of Canadian Scout Youth to Sweden during the summer of 2026.
Head of Contingent: Grant Vogelsang
Grant has been a Scouter with 2nd Regina Scouts in Regina for longer than he can remember but he is told it has been about 12 years. Grant's part time job is working in the IT field during the weekday's and fulltime Scouts the rest of the time. Grant has been to CJ'17, World Jamboree 2019, and as HOC for the Finland Jamboree in 2022. Grant enjoys teaching sarcasm to anyone who will listen to his jokes.
Deputy Contingent Lead: Cameron Oehler
Cam is a long time member of Scouts Canada. Cam is currently a Rover in the 86th Scout Group in Regina and has learned from his mentors on how to over volunteer. Cam is currently in his final year of Software Engineering at University of Regina and balances his studies with mentoring Ventures, taking minutes for Group Committee meetings, and working with his very active Rover Company.

Grant can count to ten with his fingers, and on a warm day to twenty if he uses his toes.
Marketing and Communications Lead: Shelli Schwanbeck
Shelli has been a Scouter with 8th Yorkton Scouts for 2 years. While relatively new to the Scout program, she brings with her experience in the recreation, tourism, ecotourism, marketing, and event planning industries. Shelli attended the Pacific Jamboree 2024. She looks forward to another adventure, and helping youth find the opportunity in the world around them.
Care Corps/Service Team Lead: Shirley Larson
Shirley has been volunteering with Scouts Canada Saskatchewan Council for 30 years. Shirley first volunteered when her twins joined as cub scouts. She has volunteered in roles from Section Scouter to Support Scouter in Saskatchewan Council as well as several National Committees. SJ2026 will be Shirley’s 10th regional, national, world and international jamboree volunteering as a patrol leader, IST, transportation management team, and care team. After 47 years in acute care and teaching/mentoring nursing students, Shirley is now a retired Registered Nurse. Shirley brings a wealth of experiences from scouting, the medical field and life to the Care Team. She is looking forward to meeting everyone with the Canadian Contingent in Sweden.

Rae has been very active in Scouting from early on. Rae took on the role of Youth Commissioner and a member of the Key 3 in Saskatchewan back in 2020. She has also attended PJ 2019 and 2024. She is currently a very active Rover with the Company in Regina while attending studying for her Education Degree.
