This database provides a secure login for each Patrol Member to submit the essential documentation required for Scouts Canada, Scouts Sweden and SJ26CA. Documentation will be accessible to SJ26CA CMT, Patrol Lead, individual Patrol Members while in Canada, Denmark and Sweden. (Should you require information to be accessible in additional countries, please contact HOC Grant Vogelsang to arrange).

Registration Data
Sj26CA CMT is submitting registration information to Sweden in early February. Here is a form to gather information from your participants for the registration. Sweden requires everyone over the age of 18 to supply at Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search that is within ONE YEAR of issue prior to August 2, 2026.

- A valid passport or equivalent document. The Government of Canada advises that passports need to be valid for up to six months after the scheduled date of return to Canada
- Scouts Canada Physical Fitness Form
- Government of Canada Consent Letter for Youth Traveling Abroad
- Scouts Canada Medication Log
These are only for the events before and/or after Sweden Jamboree 26. SJ26CA CMT submits AAF/IAA for Sj26 separately.

Scouter Grant went over a quick review of updates from Sweden. Grant presented a sample of contingent gear items from Big Bang Productions. These items are not confirmed - we are just sharing the communications.

November 23, 2025 - Transportation and Communications
CMT hosted a meeting on November 23 to discuss Transportation and Communications.
Scouter Grant, Contingent Head, provided updates on contingent fees from the Sweden perspective and the different roles they have available. Grant also provided an update on No One Left Behind, future options that may become available and current options that are available from Scout Gear - Adventure Fund. October 26, 2025 - Wellness and Communications
CMT Hosted a meeting on October 26 to discuss Wellness and Communications.
Scouter Shirley - CMT Care Core, discussed topics of health items to prepare for prior to Sweden, important items to that watch for while at Jamboree, how to care for yourself and assist others. See slide deck from presentation: happy_healthy_sweden_jamboree.pdf

If you have NOT secured your passports - please begin this process soon. A passport number is required for multiple things for international travel.
Items you will want to work on with your youth prior to Sweden:
- lashings: scouting skills are highly used in European Scout Organizations. Knots/Lashings are BIG. Expect to build things that are required for use.
- Practice your cooking and cleaning skills for camp kitchen. Look at taking Food Safety Certifications.
**SJ26CA attendees MUST be active in Scouts Canada. Your Scouter ID must be current in order to be registered.
Ensure medical history is complete. Medications, surgeries, conditions. Speak with your doctors about traveling and alternative medication names while in Sweden.
Online Registration Platform for SJ26CA is not quite ready. We will send out an Excel Sheet to Unit Contacts to gather information on groups. If you have not received an email with a registration sheet, please contact [email protected].

CMT Hosted a meeting on September 14 to discuss updates since our last meeting and fees for the SJ26CA Contingent.
These fees cover the Sweden Jamboree26 registration, SJ26CA Contingent Gear, emergency fee, CMT group expenses, travel insuranse.*
*Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is required by everyone participating with SJ26CA. CMT is looking into Group Travel Insurance options for all participants. Pricing for this will be available as soon as possible. This is a cost item that will be added down the line.
SJ26CA Group Fee Schedule
First Payment: October 24, 2025 $300/participant
Second Payment: November 21, 2025 $300/participant
Third Payment: January 16, 2026 $xxx/participant - adjustments to be made with payment based on final figures from Sweden, decisions on insurance and any other items that arise.
**Please note that the meeting discusses the first payment taking place September 26, 2025; however, CMT delayed that payment to October 24, 2025.
